Design Brief

This splendid item was developed in response to the need for a low profile panel loading pack to fit in the confined storage space of BushMaster and other vehicles.

It’s an easily organised suitcase/duffle/backpack abundantly supplied with pockets and organisers to allow easy access to 72 hours worth of gear.

Please correct us if wrong, but we suspect this to be the best thought out and best constructed pack of its style to be found anywhere on the planet. Which is where some of its owners may travel.

  • Panel Loading. Full size zip access. Side compressed straps support zip when pack loaded. Exterior covered with CrossFire’s distinctive 20/25 MOLLE.  20/25 allows a few millimetres clearance between pack and pouch horizontal webbing when inserting PALS straps on all makes of pouches .  It  is faster and easier to  thread and makes a neater attachment

  • Plastic Frame Sheet. Provides comfort for load carriage. Removable to turn DG-2 into a soft pack to scrunch into difficult stowage spaces.
  • Zip access also useful for map / mat stowage.
  • Ergonomic Shoulder Harness. Triple laminated to last under load.
  • Ventilated Free-2-Air® lining.
  • Adjustable sternum strap.
  • Low profile, easy release QR buckles with security lock off.
  • Mega Duckbill strap buckles.
  • Tensioned Mesh Back Panel. Ventilated panel with tension adjustment. Can be worn over CBA or winter clothing.
  • Padded Hip Fins. Removable to reduce snagging / trampling when operating out of aircraft and vehicles.
